Ah, the sun was setting and it was a long and boring day for one Satori Komeiji. She had spent most of the day sitting in her chair and reading to pass the time, albeit, light reading. A so-called ‘comic strip' as the wind priestess who supplied it to her described it. The text included an orange haired feline and his mind-reading [or at least, Satori assumed he was.] owner. Despite its childish simplicity, the pages brought Satori great amounts of joy as it reminded her of her own relationship with her beloved pets.

Speaking of, one of them is just arriving right now. A very excited Rin Kaenbyou arrives through the door after her, presumably long, day of carrying corpses.

'Miss Komeiji, Miss Komeiji!' the red haired cat cheers.

Satori chuckles, 'Yes that's me, sweetie.' She takes a look at Rin's appearance, her hair slightly frazzled, the bows encasing her pigtails are also crooked. 'Dear, what happened to your hair?'

'Oh, don't worry about it! I was just in a rush to…see you! That's it.' Rin replies, slightly fidgeting with her hands.

Satori is too tired to read her mind or heart, so she doesn't bother investigating the cat's answer further and simply accepts it at face value. The satori sighs and clears her throat 'Well, allow me to fix it. Come over here, Orin.'

Rin races to Satori and sits down on the floor in front of her. 'I'll stay still, Miss Komeiji, I swear!'

Satori sets aside her paper, cracks her knuckles and gets to work on Rin's hair, untying the bows and undoing the braids first to properly brush it. She lightly combs the hair through her fingers, making sure not to miss a single tangle. Speaking of which, there are many of them strung along the feline's hair. Strange, she notes.

'Miss Komeiji, how was your day today?' Rin asks joyfully, almost too joyfully. Sure, she was quite the happy-go-lucky kitten, but it's odd to see her happy to this amount, Satori thinks to herself.

She replies anyway, 'Oh, it's been relatively mundane for me, just reading and rocking in this chair….how about yours, sweetheart? Anything new happen today?'

'Oh! Uhm...no, it's been pretty boring for me too! Haha…' The cat replies, her voice quavering a miniscule amount. 'Annnnywho, I liked the weather today! Very sunny and warm. Almost hot as hell, right?' Rin jokes, giggling afterwards.

'That's right, that's right…' Satori laughs too, a very funny kasha, Rin was. The two continue to talk, getting lost in the conversation. The satori forgets any previous worries about her pet's strange behaviors today. She just takes time to fix her hair and appreciate the normal surroundings, the lights, the gorgeous stained glass, the slight and very quiet sound of an explosion, it was all too familiar to her. A calm day it was, she thi-

Wait, was that an explosion? ... .Where was Utsuho?

Her hands immediately seize their current activities as she rises up from her chair, rushing to find the source of the noise? She races, Rin follows her, now looking very suspicious. She checks almost every single room, no sign of the hell raven. There was only one room left, the indoor garden. Satori twists the doorknob and opens the door.

The room was completely wrecked, shards of glass from the vases everywhere, along with the flowers. A very thrilled Utsuho resides in the room, continuously exploding the area and watching the petals be thrown up into the air, laughing each time. The raven doesn't even notice anyone coming into the room.

Satori gives Rin a sharp, menacing glare. The red haired feline's face is now very sweaty, knowing that her master now knows what she was trying to do. Satori grunts quietly and turns her attention to her other pet.

'Miss utsuho Reiuji, what the hell are you doing!?' she shouts. utsuho jumps, very startled. She turns around to face Satori.

'Uhm...' she vocalizes, looking at Rin, who is also exchanging a glance.

The pets knew at that moment that it was going to be a very long day for them.
